Smart Battery Monitor Update

2010/11/09

I have published the first update for the Smart Battery Monitor app. The update includes some minor bug fixes and a new feature! The new feature shows the time elapsed since the last charging. The elapsed time is not shown until the phone has been connected to the battery charger.

Last week, I also got my first error report from a user via the Android market. The report shows a “NullPointerException”. Right now, I was not able to reproduce this error. But I think this problem could occur if an “automatic task killer” is installed on your phone. Similar problems have been reported with some other battery apps. So, I think you should either disable the task killer or add an exception for the Smart Battery Monitor app to be not killed!

Changelog v1.1:

  • Fixed removal of wrong element
  • Layout of main screen modified for a nicer theme support
  • [Feature] Elapsed time since last charging is shown
  • [Feature] Entry added in option menu to search for Smart Battery Monitor themes on the Android market
